Worship

ONE GREAT CHURCH
TWO GREAT WORSHIP SERVICES
Worship_1v2.jpg

At GBPC, worship is our opportunity to glorify God because of how much God loves us.

Each Sunday morning, we gather to give thanks, to pray, to hear God’s Word read and proclaimed, and to sing. We bring our joys and our hardships, listening together for how God is guiding us—both as individuals and as a church.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper, the Sacrament of Communion in our Reformed tradition, on the first Sunday of each month. All are invited to participate.

We are ever grateful that we belong to God through Jesus Christ, whose love is constant and enduring. And with God’s help, we seek to serve the Lord with our whole hearts—reaching out into the world and sharing Christ’s love with all whom we encounter.

Traditional Worship
9:30 am

We seek to celebrate Christ-centered worship in a format that is in a classic style with Reformed liturgy and music that is diverse. Each Sunday, our dedicated singers in the Chancel Choir help lead worship, joined regularly by our KIDS SING choristers. Both our Allen Quantum organ and Steinway piano enhance the worship experience, supporting exuberant praise as well as quiet, meditative moments. Instrumental ensembles such as the Harmonious Flutes, Alleluia Ringers, and a variety of guest musicians further enrich our services each week.

Contemporary Worship
11:00 am

Our Contemporary Worship Services are an awesome opportunity to worship Jesus Christ in a less formal atmosphere. Our purpose is to praise God through inspirational music, the sincere prayers of people’s hearts, and relevant messages from God’s Word. It is our desire to participate in a celebrative experience that will invite people to Jesus. Come, celebrate God’s presence with us and discover an exciting place to call home!

Coffee & Conversation

After each service, you're invited to linger for coffee and conversation. Following the 9:30 a.m. service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall; after the 11:00 a.m. service, we meet in the Narthex. It's a simple but meaningful way to connect, catch up, and get to know one another.

Wherever you're coming from, and however you worship best, we hope you’ll find GBPC to be a place of welcome, depth, and connection.
