Who We Are
At Great Bridge Presbyterian Church, everything we do begins with our mission to share Christ’s love and equip God’s people.
Our faith is rooted in scripture and expressed through relationships, meaningful worship, and acts of service. We’re committed to building a community where people can grow in faith and live out that faith in everyday life.

OUR BELIEFS
We are a church that at its core believes God created the World and all that is in it, sent Jesus Christ to save us all by God’s amazing Grace, and through the Holy Spirit, God is ever present in our lives.
We are Presbyterian, part of the PC(USA) denomination, which is part of the Reformed Theology tradition.
What We Believe About ...
Christ
We believe Jesus is the Son of God. As a church, we encourage folks to embrace the teachings, compassion, and full example of Jesus Christ, ever growing in relationship with him. God sent Christ, through God's amazing mercy and love, to save us all in the world from our brokenness and sin.
Grace
Accepting God’s Grace, that comes at God’s initiation, as a gift that we cannot earn or receive on our own by any works or means we employ. Then, we are to demonstrate God’s unconditional love, living out our faith in joyful gratitude to God and through sharing Christ’s love in service to others.
The Bible
We accept the Bible as Holy Scripture, inspired by God and written to reveal the story of God’s salvation for all throughout history in the world. Through study and thoughtful reflection, we believe that we grow closer to God personally and understand God's will for our lives better.
Worship
In worship, we rejoice by giving thanks and praise to God for all that God does and is in our lives. Our worship reflects our traditional Reformed heritage and includes contemporary styles of praise, as well. Our services lift spirits high through joyous music and singing, by incorporating liturgies that include our ancient confessions to our newest affirmations of faith, and that preach the Gospel through expressions of word, liturgy, and art. We are blessed to enjoy wonderful community together when we worship.
Prayer
As Jesus emulated and taught, we accept the invitation to come into God’s presence and seek God’s will for our lives through regular prayer. We are a community in Christ that shares its joys and blessings and supports one another in its troubles and difficulties. We pray together for ourselves, one another, the church, and all the world.
Mission
We invite everyone to love their neighbor and to grow in understanding who our neighbors are. We encourage everyone to speak the truth in love and to share God’s Good News with all whom we encounter. In the Great Commission of Matthew 28: 18-20, Jesus commands us as followers that we are to go out and help share the Gospel Good News. We take this Mission seriously, to go beyond our church walls to reach out into the wider community and beyond into the world, to share how much God loves us and that by God’s love, we love others.
