Worship Services

Great Bridge Presbyterian Church is blessed with a diverse  congregation united in love  for the Lord! Christ-centered worship can be expressed through traditional  liturgy and music or through contemporary  music with a casual, relational style.  Either way,  we would love to have you come worship with us where you can experience God’s presence, grow in your faith and build lasting relationships with others.

Traditional  Worship:  We seek to celebrate our life with Christ through a variety of music while offering biblical teaching that is practical, inspiring and Christ-centered.   While our worship format is in the Reformed tradition, we seek to offer a mix of music that includes classical, both past and present, gospel, multi-cultural, contemporary, and spirituals.  Each Sunday our dedicated singers in the Chancel choir help to lead worship.  Both our Allen Quantum organ and our Steinway piano are used to enhance the worship experience, creating exuberant worship as well as opportunities for meditative moments.  Instrumental ensembles enrich our worship including our Harmonious Flutes and Alleluia Ringers as well as various instruments on any given Sunday.

Contemporary Worship: Our Contemporary Worship Services are an awesome opportunity to worship Jesus Christ in a relational and casual setting.  Our purpose is to praise God through inspirational music, the sincere prayers of people’s hearts and relevant messages from God’s Word.  It is our desire to participate in a celebrative experience that will invite people to Jesus.  Come, celebrate God’s presence with us and discover an exciting place to call home!

On Sunday mornings just after worship services, you’re invited to join us for coffee and other refreshments! After the 9:30 a.m. service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall, and after the 11:00 a.m. service, we gather in the Narthex. This is a great opportunity to spend some time with one another and get to know new members. This is also a great way to get involved with our church community and learn more about what’s happening at GBPC! Hope to see you there!
