The New Member’s Class is a great opportunity for those new to our community to meet new people and learn more about our congregation. You may join GBPC by transfer of letter, by reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, or by profession of faith and baptism.

The New Member’s class is offered three times a year (Winter, Spring, Fall).  It consists of an overview of the Reformed tradition and beliefs given by the pastors.  You will also be given the two books that make up our constitution, the Book of Order and Book of Confessions.  Additionally, you will be introduced to many of the staff and ministry leaders of Great Bridge Presbyterian Church. You will be given an opportunity during the class to share your own faith story, and if you choose to join, will be asked five membership questions.

Sun., Jan. 27th, 11:00—12:30 pm

Join the pastors to hear their testimonies and learn about the key emphases of the Presbyterian tradition and how that impacts what we’re doing at GBPC.  Participants will also receive the Living Your Strengths book.  Childcare provided.

This class is designed to share with you about the Presbyterian Church, the expectations of members to Worship, Grow and Serve, and facilitate a time for you to share your faith stories with the elders of the church if you decide you want to join GBPC.

Sun. Feb. 3rd , 11:-00-1:00 pm

Come learn what your God-given  strengths are in order to plug into the right place at GPBC!   Enjoy lunch with staff and ministry leaders, and meet with elders to share your faith story and join GBPC.  Childcare provided.
