Joy Rowe, has a passion in ministry for working with children, helping them connect with God and develop a deep love for Christ. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary. Joy has 20+ years working in ministry serving Disciples of Christ churches in Indiana, North Carolina, Florida and Virginia. In her spare time, she loves reading and embroidery. To keep herself centered and focused, Joy walks an hour every day for exercise. She is married to Michael for 14 years and lives in Portsmouth. Between them they have seven children and eleven grandchildren. Together they enjoy going to the mountains, watching movies, going out to eat and spending time with family.
