Tentative start date: Sunday, September 27, 5:45 pm (depends on COVID rates in Chesapeake)
Children’s & Youth Choirs will meet at GBPC outside around the property. LOOK for the signs for each choir. Choirs will met monthly. Tentatively the 4th Sunday:
September 27, October 25, November 22, December 13 Live Nativity (date/time TBA)
Choristers will bring their own chair and mask – we do not want to use chairs from the church for sanitizing purposes.
Our goal is to teach Christmas Carols for use in the Live Nativity along with music skills.

Youth Instrumental Ensemble is open to all strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion students in grades 8-12. Learn more and register!
Kelby Schnepel is currently Director of Middle and Upper School Orchestras at Norfolk Academy. He is also Operations Manager for Bay Youth Orchestras of Virginia. He has recently completed his Masters of Music Education at Old Dominion University which is where he attending for Undergraduate work in Music Education. A cellist and conductor he finds excitement and drive in teaching young people to be musicians through instrumental playing. In his free time he enjoys cooking and grilling with his better half, Jess, and they both enjoy the chaos of their two charismatic boys, Leo and Emmett.
