Vida Joven Young Life Lunch ‘N Learn, Sunday, May 8, 12:00 noon. You’re invited to hear from two Young Life Leaders from Nicaragua and see a wonderful video of one of our trips while you enjoy lunch. You will hear from Rosa, who is a Young Life Leader, and Kerry, who is an American Missionary living at the Camp who works for Young Life. Young Life is a Christ-centered ministry that helps kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve Him.

Many in our congregation have been to Vida Joven and have supported the Young Life Leaders. We have dug ditches, planted coffee, climbed hills with buckets of concrete on our backs, worshipped, bagged coffee, prayed with, prayed for and sung and danced with the Nicaraguan people. Because we haven’t been allowed to travel there these last three years, our GBPC congregation may not be aware that many of us on the Vida Joven Team have stayed in constant contact with our friends there and still support some of them financially.

Everyone is invited to come and learn about Vida Joven Young Life and prayerfully think about how you might participate in the work of Vida Joven. GBPC has been going on mission trips to Vida Joven (Young Life Camp) for the past 17 years. Due to the pandemic, we have not gone in the past three years but are hoping to plan a trip next year.
