Join us for this festive service of lessons and carols which features the Chancel Choir, Alleluia Ringers, guest readers, and members of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Billye Brown Youmans, Director of Music.

This unique carol service contains a variety of carols from many traditions. Scripture lessons are woven together with exquisite poetry to create an exceptional service of worship. The Chancel Choir at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church will travel to Switzerland in 2024 on an “Instruments of Peace” Singing Mission tour and has completed three previous international tours; Italy (2019), Scotland (2012) and Germany and Austria in 2007. In 2015 the choir completed a choral residency with Mark Hayes at Lincoln Center performing his Requiem. The annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a beloved community tradition. We welcome guests from the entire Tidewater area. Please join us for this festive worship service.
