The New Member’s Class is a great opportunity for those new to our community to meet new people and learn more about our congregation. You may join GBPC by transfer of letter, by reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, or by profession of faith and baptism.
The New Member’s class is offered three times a year (Winter, Spring, Fall). It consists of an overview of the Reformed tradition and beliefs given by the pastors. You will also be given the two books that make up our constitution, the Book of Order and Book of Confessions. Additionally, you will be introduced to many of the staff and ministry leaders of Great Bridge Presbyterian Church. You will be given an opportunity during the class to share your own faith story, and if you choose to join, will be asked five membership questions.
